Botkins Memorial Pool Improvement Fund ovement Fund

This fund was established in February of 2022 by the Botkins Pool Committee and is held by The Community Foundation of Shelby County.  The fund was set up as a forward-looking fund to help in the future to defray the cost of a major upgrade or replacement of the existing pool.  The Botkins pool opened in 1972, and despite being well maintained is starting to show its age.  We believe that it will need major upgrade or replacement in the range of 2040 to 2045, which will allow time for this fund to grow.  Initially the Pool committee has put $50,000 into the fund.  We hope that we can continue to add to the initial investment through fundraising and donations.  If you would like to donate, please contact any pool committee member, or the Community Foundation of Shelby County.  We hope that with this fund and the help of the community the Botkins pool will be able to be a long-standing asset to Botkins and the surrounding area.  The BCIC which is a 501c3 can be used as a pass through to make tax-deductible donations to the improvement fund.
